Lawmakers: Cap NJ property tax hikes at 2.9 pct
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey lawmakers have sent Gov. Chris Christie a plan to cap annual property tax increases at 2.9 percent — a higher ceiling with more exemptions than he wants.
