Property crimes: Another haul
As properety crimes continue to dominate police and sheriff’s reports, five Colquitt County residents reported Tuesday they or family members were recent victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included electronics, jewelry, furniture, a coin collection, a GPS from a car, fishing equipment and arm wrestling awards.

Property maintenance law a no-go
BARTON — The possibility of the town adopting a local law dealing with property maintenance seems to be a non-issue following discussion at this week’s town council meeting.
