Town plans property tax hike
The town of Florence is notifying its citizens of its proposal to increase primary property taxes in the amount of ,840 or 2.32 percent over last year’s levy. The levy last year was 2,637 at a rate of $.7942 per 0 of net assessed value. The proposed levy is 7,905 at a rate of $.9423 per 0 of net assessed value; this amount does not include new construction.
